ETHDenver 2025 was quieter, more technical, and less exciting than previous years. Founders showed up, but many just stayed home to build.

đź“ť Overview: ETHDenver 2025 was smaller than last year and heavily focused on builders. While there were plenty of devs, the energy was mixed.
We showed up to see where the attention was going, which teams are still building through the cycle, and whether anything new was actually coming out of the builder scene. ETHDenver has a reputation as a dev-first event, but this year felt different—a lot of people skipped it altogether, and those who came were either shipping, pitching, or just networking at side events.
The takeaway is simple: there’s too much noise, and not enough traction. People are tired of recycled narratives, and restaking isn’t moving the needle anymore.
That said, attention still matters—Berachain proves that branding and community can carry a project, even without technical clarity.
AI isn’t going away, but the winners will be the ones who turn it into real usage, not just a buzzword. We’re focused on teams who know how to build, explain, and deliver.
ETHDenver 2025 didn’t feel like a breakthrough year—but that’s fine. The signal is in what’s missing. Builders are still here, but conviction is low, and narratives are getting thin. The next winners will come from teams who can actually execute—not just show up.
